Remscapes is a research about applying realtime audiovisual material to a space. This kind of living audiovisual space reacts also to the visitor, besides being a strong visual experience. The name REMSCAPES comes from the REM phase which is generally believed to be the state where we see dreams as our eyes move and our heart beats rapidly. REMSCAPES can thus be seen as as a daydream that can be controlled upto a certain point, yet it also evades the visitor/spectator.
